ShikSona Super-Women Firefighters

ShikSona features the lives and stories of strong influential women who seek beauty with ease. Kayla Beale, Dani Gorsky, and Danielle Stuckwisch are extremely busy women that divide full-time work with volunteering as firefighters.

• Kayla is wearing Barrier Breaking Beauty Lipstick and Sexy Self-Starter Lipgloss. Kayla was inspired to become a firefighter from her first trip to the Newseum and viewing of the 9/11 memorial. She’s just 25 years old and has been a volunteer firefighter since she was 17. A graduate of JMU, she studied political science and middle east affairs. Currently she balances full-time work at the Navy Yard in Washington DC as a government contractor and volunteer firefighter.
• Dani is wearing Boardroom Belle Lipstick and Mesmerizing Mama Lipgloss. Danielle earned her fire certification through EMT school while still in high school. She is currently 19 years old and works three jobs– retail, at a barn, and a senior living community as an EMT.
• Danielle is wearing Hustlin Hot Mama Lipstick with Sassy Stunner Lipgloss. She became a firefighter shortly after working as an EMT, and fell in love with the adrenaline that comes with it.
