With the passing of Labor Day, it’s the unofficial end of summer and we wanted to look back on one our best summer highlights that took place in Miami this past July. Here’s the recap!

This summer, the worlds of fashion and beauty converged in a spectacular way as ShikSona Beauty teamed up with Dita Von Teese Lingerie for an unforgettable experience at Miami Swim Week 2023. Serving as the official makeup brand for Dita Von Teese’s lingerie presentation at Queen Miami Beach, ShikSona Beauty left an indelible mark on all attendees with their transformative makeup artistry.

Dita Von Teese’s lingerie line exuded sensuality and timeless elegance, captivating the audience. Under the creative direction of Victoria Stiles, Key Artist and Creative Director of ShikSona Beauty, the team crafted a signature retro-glam look. This look featured black wing-tipped eyeliner, full lashes, matte skin, and bold lips, enhancing the models’ allure. Stiles explained, “We drew inspiration from Dita Von Teese’s personal makeup style when designing the look for her lingerie presentation at Miami Swim Week 2023.” To achieve this, they combined ShikSona Beauty’s original collection with their exciting new summer launch, “Out Of Office,” featuring vibrant pink and red lip colors in various striking shades.

The models were adorned with carefully selected hues from ShikSona Beauty, providing the perfect finishing touch to their outfits. Teal, blue, and pink ensembles were paired with ShikSona’s Savvy Smokeshow lipstick and Posh Powerhouse lipstick, complemented by the Sheer Radiance lip gloss.

For the dramatic ensembles featuring blacks, golds, and bronzes, classic red lips were achieved using ShikSona’s Barrier Breaking Beauty, Ravaging Risk Taker, and Chic CEO lipsticks, beautifully accented with the Sexy Self-Starter lip gloss.

Collaborating with Victoria Stiles were the talented artists from IMAJ Artists, ensuring flawless execution. To prep the lips and face, ShikSona’s own CBD Face Balm provided optimal hydration.
